Back From Vacation... Finally!
Yes, this is Allison, and I've finally returned from vacation! And movation to post has also came back from vacation. :P Anyway, vacation was fun, I saw lots of wild animals, ate good food, went in a cave, and lots of other fun stuff!
I was actually subconiously worried my dragons (eggs and hatchlings) would die while I was gone, even though Ranger was watching my scroll for me. It wasn't that I didn't trust him, but I had this weird dream that I came home to find that my eggs had died, and my CB nebula female hadn't grown up. :P Fortunately, none of that happened. My scroll is fine.
So... Enough blabbing from me. Updates. Lets see, I bred my two CB nebulas without fertility today, and they made this egg. I also bred two CB pinks and got an egg; its always nice to have dragons with short lineages. I also tried to breed Ranger an even gen Ice/Blue Stripe, but they didn't make an egg.
:( Sorry Ranger!
Also, before leaving I tried to bred a Shallow Water, and my CB Water Dragon and CB Magi hated each other! :O :( So I got another Water egg, influenced it male, and plan to try again when this one grows up.
I also tried to Summon, and it failed. :(

Updates for my scroll
Ranger here.
So, you've probably wonder where I've been. Things have been pretty busy around here so I haven't really updated the blog much. Right now Allison is gone on vacation so she won't be posting for awhile. I have completed my first set of trios(and Ice, a thunder, and a magma) and have tried summoning(which failed). Right now I have my second set but they haven't reached adulthood yet. I have an adult Ice for that set of trios as well as a magma hatchling and a thunder egg so my second set of trios are on the way! Today I traded my Purple hatchling for CB Nebula so I'm happy about that. Right now I'm attempting to trade my CB nightglory egg for something. If you want to make an offer here is the teleport link. Hopefully I'll be able to start posting here more.

This week's Weekly Dragon Giveaway: Swallow Water Dragon!

Okay, so if you look at the right hand side of our blog and scroll down a little, you'll see something called "Weekly Dragon." What that is: Basically, we give the first person to contact us a free egg! No trading required! If you contact us at lifewithdragons@gmail.com and you're the first first person to contact us, you get (This week.) a Shallow Water Dragon! I don't know about you, but I think those dragons are adorable. ;)
Last week NO ONE contacted us. We were giving a Pink egg away. That's a BSA dragon, people!!
I understand some people are hesistant to give away their email address to people they don't know. I understand. So here are some alternates to email:
1. Leave us a comment on one of our blog posts saying something like "I would please like the weekly dragon." And we'll talk about how to get you the teleport link in the comments.
2. Get on our chat room (#Dragcave) and tell us you read our blog and would like the weekly egg. (It is very important you tell us that you read our blog! If you don't, we won't know who you are. :( ) There is instructions on how to get to #Dragcave in the tab at the top of this blog that says something like "DC Chat Room." (If it doesn't say that, it says something similar.) It should have pretty good instructions on how to get there.
Oh, and remember to be polite when asking for the egg of the week. We do not reward rudeness at this blog.
I know I still have yet to update you guys on my scroll. I'll get to it sometime this week, hopefully!

Today is the day! The features are here!!
Allison here. :) Tried to build up the suspense by not posting for a few days. :P
Yes, the features are here!!!!
The good:
Teleport is AMAZING! Very easy way to get an egg from point A to point B. :D I used fertility this morning on Curse and Stripes, and they made a Nebula egg. Since I was hoping they'd make a Black Stripe egg, I teleported the resulting egg to Ranger. :)
The Bad:
The biomes have disappointed me. Some of them only drop eggs for ten minutes, and then drop NOTHING for the rest of the hour. Like, the forest, jungle, coast have lots of eggs almost all the time, but the biomes I would prefer to hunt in (alpine/mountain, desert, and volcano) have nada most of the hour. Very frustrating, but maybe it will release more eggs as time goes on? Anyway, I did get a day glory egg from one of the biomes, but I may see if I can trade it later on.
I really hope biomes will be good in the long run!

My Pillow gendered male. I'm actually happy about this, mainly because I like the male sprites better then the female Pillow sprites.
Curse grew up. And so did my magma. Also, my Terrae egg hatched.
Getting excited for the updates! Three days!

The Curse of the Male Dragons is OVER!
Allison. :) Sorry for not being on the past two days, I had a wedding to attend, and it took up a good chunk of my time. It was great, I had fun, but now it is over, and life returns to normal. :D
Anyway, enough about my real life. You want to know about the title of my post, don't you?
Well, much to my surprise, I got on DC this morning and found this pretty little GIRL! AND she wasn't even influenced! She is all natural! And... AND she is my favorite Nebula type out of all the nebs!! Her name, you'll notice, is My Curse is Broken. I'll abbrevate her name on this blog to Curse for short. To avoid confusion, the actual curse of the male dragons (Not my nebula, the actual curse.) will be known as CMD. Anyway, I think I will breed Curse to Stripes and Frills when Stripes is off cooldown. (I tried, and failed, to breed him with my female pink.) I'll probably have a failed breeding, though, since Ranger says stripes and nebs hate breeding lately, but its worth a try, right?
That isn't all my good news.
First I'll update you on the hatchlings grown up. Sorry if any of this is repeated info, its been a busy few days for me:

God's Beautiful Day Glory grew up. And so did God's Handsome Night Glory. I tried to breed the two glories, and while they are willing to breed (Yay! They don't hate each other!) they didn't make an egg. :(
Now for the hatchlings:
My magma gendered. (He is a hatchling now, in case I forgot to mention it.) Another male. :/
My Pillow hatched. And so did my Purple, which I incubated to get it to hatch early.
Now for eggs:
I got this Terrae egg from the cave.
AND check out this egg! I CAN'T believe I got a caveborn nebula!!! I was so happy about that.

New Features Annoucement from TJ09!

Today I got on dc's chat (Not the chat Ranger and I made, the site's "offical" chat.) and saw a link to this post. My thoughts on each of those features:
I think I like the sound of biomes best so far. Fertility and Teleport will be awesome as well.
What do you think your favorite new feature will be? Tell us the comments which you are excited for, if you want too.

Today I got on dc's chat (Not the chat Ranger and I made, the site's "offical" chat.) and saw a link to this post. My thoughts on each of those features:
- Fertility BSA for Purple Dragons. (Going to be SO helpful if you want an egg from two awesome dragons. Like, say I want to breed stripe/nebula... Well, they will make either a stripe OR a nebula egg, depending on what the site gives me. Very happy that this will increase the chance of getting an egg. I think I will hunt for purples when I unlock. :D)
- Biomes (Followers, can you imagine going to a certain biome and not having neotropicals, AND water dragons clogging up the area? Its going to be epic. I might not need to use F5 while cavehunting anymore, if there are less people going for the same egg. :D)
- New Egg/Hatchling Limits (If you have 50 dragons, you can have have 5 eggs, etc. Going to be very cool. I only have 29 dragons/eggs/hatchlings on my scroll, so this won't effect me for a while. But it will effect Ranger right away, so I'm happy for him.)
- Rare/Rare breeding
- Refusals in the breeding list
- Teleport BSA for Magi Dragons (Two words: Easier trades. Very excited! I've never lost an egg/hatchling in trade, and I'd like to keep it that way.)
I think I like the sound of biomes best so far. Fertility and Teleport will be awesome as well.

I let my night glory hatch last night. Here he is. We'll find out if he held his gender in a few days. Unfortunately, him hatching means I am scroll locked. :(

I'd been searching for more rares yesterday with little success, so I decided to take a break from getting rares and got this pretty lineaged Pillow egg.
